A Unique Opportunity to Learn and Develop Practical Skills

Girls Go Circular is an educational program funded by the European Union, implemented in Albania by Junior Achievement of Albania since April 2024.

Bridging the gender gap in science and technology.

The innovative Circular Learning Space platform, helping girls develop digital and entrepreneurial skills through customized modules and creative activities.

Key Program Features

Circular Learning Space – An online platform with 19 modules covering topics such as:

  • The Circular Economy of Smartphones

  • Artificial Intelligence

  • Healthy and Smart Cities

  • Mobility Technologies

Flexibility – Materials are available in 24 languages and align with European standards (DigComp, EntreComp, and GreenComp).

Self-Paced Learning – Girls learn at their own pace through hands-on activities, including business plan creation and digital simulations.

Participation in Events – Opportunities to take part in:

  • Annual student challenges

  • Women and Girls in STEM forums, gathering thousands of participants from across Europe.

 

Program Impact

Since its launch in 2020, Girls Go Circular has empowered over 48,000 girls to learn about the circular economy and develop essential skills.

The mission: To reduce the gender gap in STEM and inspire girls to pursue careers in science and technology.
