GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:

Working under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, Project Coordinator will be responsible for the following duties:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Coordinate, implement, and oversee project activities, ensuring alignment with JAA’s mission and planned execution

  • Collaborate with beneficiaries, students, teachers and partners, keeping stakeholders engaged and informed

  • Track project progress and maintain documentation and statistics.

  • Prepare quarterly and ad-hoc reports for the Program Manager, addressing any project issues.

  • Provide content for the website, socials and newsletters to highlight project success.

  • Support the Program Manager with budgeting, planning and data collection for reporting and fundraising.

  • Ensure all projects follow internal operational and procedural guidelines, meeting timelines and objectives.

  • Address project challenges promptly and support the Program Manager and Executive Director as needed.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • MSc degree preferably but not limited in Human Sciences/ Business Administration and/or related field.

  • 2-5 years’ experience in project coordination, highly preferably in education or nonprofits.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Very good verbal and written communication to engage diverse stakeholders.

  • Experience working with students, teachers and community partners.

  • Proactive and resourceful in identifying challenges and implementing solutions.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data tracking, and content creation for digital platforms.
