Technology is rapidly transforming industries, creating new opportunities for innovation and entrepreneurship. Junior Achievement of Albania (JAA), through the Digital Deep Tech Project (DTTI), is helping students develop the skills needed to navigate this evolving landscape. The project focuses on equipping young people with AI-based problem-solving skills, preparing them to develop innovative solutions in the Agri-Food sector.
Integrating AI into Student Entrepreneurship
Since its launch in April 2024, the DTTI project has provided students in vocational and higher education with access to the AI-ENTR4YOUTH platform, where they learn how to use AI to address industry challenges. This initiative builds upon JAAโs student entrepreneurship model, guiding participants in applying artificial intelligence to improve business processes and create value-driven solutions.
Key Achievements So Far
๐ 437 students and 13 teachers have engaged with the program, developing skills in AI, business development, and problem-solving.
๐ 63 AI-driven startup ideas have been created, addressing challenges in the Agri-Food sector.
๐ Participants receive mentorship and training to refine their business concepts and make them market-ready.
By January 2025, students had successfully submitted their project ideas, many of which have been entered into the Gen-E Regional Entrepreneurship JAA Festival and Student Fair, providing them with further opportunities to develop their business ideas.
Next Steps
As the program moves forward, the focus will shift to mentorship and finalizing startup ideas. Students and teachers will take part in mentoring sessions led by JA experts to fine-tune their AI-powered business models and prepare for the next stages of the program.
Through DTTI, JAA continues to support students in exploring AI and entrepreneurship, offering them the knowledge and tools needed to turn ideas into real-world solutions. The program is helping young people develop essential skills for the future, opening new possibilities in both education and the job market.
