Leader for a day 2024

40 leaders from various businesses, institutions, and organizations in Tirana extended a warm welcome to 43 students from 29 different high schools across Albania participating in the "Leader for a Day" module by Junior Achievement Albania.

Throughout the 2023-2024 school year, a significant cohort of 2000 students from 54 high schools actively engaged in this transformative module. Among them, 43 students were selected to shadow real leaders during a full working day. This experience culminated in a Gala ceremony attended by esteemed guests including Minister for Children and Youth Bora Muzhaqi, Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Tirana Keti Luarasi, and Co-Executive Directors of the Albanian-American Foundation for Development Aleksandër Sarapuli and Martin Mata, alongside numerous CEOs and senior executives from both local and foreign corporations in Albania.

Recognizing the evolving demands of the labor market, Junior Achievement Albania underscores the importance of equipping young people with essential practical skills such as creativity, teamwork, determination, self-confidence, decision-making abilities, and responsibility. These skills are vital for their success in navigating the ever-changing landscape of the professional world, and they remain central to Junior Achievement Albania's commitment to empowering youth through education and practical experiences.
