The second regional high school debate for this year took place in Tirana on April 29 as part of the Debating Economics program from Junior Achievement of Albania. 18 high schools, part of this JAA program, participated in the activity with 54 students, who debated each other in three rounds of debate.
The participants represented the debate clubs of their schools from the cities of Tirana, Shkodra, Koplik, Saranda, Vlora, Korça, Elbasan, Berat, Përrenjas and Gramsh. Throughout the rounds, debaters demonstrated their research and public speaking skills.
The Regional Debates held by JAA during the month of April were aimed at promoting and increasing the debating capacities of high school Debate Clubs, part of the "Debating Economics" Program of JAA, as well as qualifying the 16 teams with the highest results for the National Championship of High School Debate.
