Games, competitions, improvisations, as well as the search for different fields and professions engaged the students of the "Kozma Gj. Basho" school during the "Career Day" activity, a format implemented by JA of Albania in 9-year-old schools to be given opportunities for students to explore different career fields to start the process of thinking and creating ideas as clear as possible about what they want to do in the future.
28 students of the 8th and 9th grades and the teachers of this school were joined in this activity by representatives from the general and vocational high schools of the cities of Pogradec and Korça, the Labor Office in Korça, the Pogradec Children's Cultural Center, the Office Educational Pogradec, as well as representatives from the private sector.
Presentations from general and vocational high schools, from representatives of the Labor Office and the business community created a necessary space for students to familiarize themselves with the schools they can attend after completing 9 years of education, but also with the services and spaces of employment that exist.
All participants, students, teachers and representatives of different institutions appreciated the commitment of JAA in the perspective of youth career education and emphasized the need to spread this format to other schools as well.
