The 16 winning teams of the Regional High School Debates, part of JAA's "Debating Economics" program, were entered on May 12-13, 2023 in the National High School Debate Championship organized by JAA.
"This parliament would integrate IA and Fintech to revolutionize the entrepreneurial sector in the future" was the topic with which the 16 teams faced each other. The confrontation in the final round of the two best teams, specifically the schools "Naim Frashëri" Durrës and "Ernest Koliqi" Tirana, crowned the team "Naim Frashëri" as the winner of this National Championship.
This team will represent Albania in the World School Debate Competition 2023 that takes place in Hanoi (Vietnam) on July 18-28, 2023. 60 countries will be involved in this competition.
780 students in 39 schools of higher secondary education in Albania during the 2022-2023 academic year were an active part of the "Debate Clubs" set up as part of the "Debating Economics" Program of JA of Albania.
Throughout the year, they trained and practiced to be successful debaters, developed research and public presentation skills, knowledge and skills that will accompany them throughout their lives.
