The Regional Entrepreneurship Festival, held in Vlora on May 3rd, 2024, was organized by Junior Achievement of Albania, with support from the Ministry of Education and Sports, the Municipality of Vlora, the Albanian-American Development Foundation, and Tirana Bank. The event showcased the innovative ventures of 170 students from 20 higher secondary schools across Tirana, Gramsh, Berat, Kuçova, Librazhd, Prrenjas, Elbasan, Tepelenë, and Sarandë. These students, representing 34 JAA Student Companies, participated in the festival, which is an integral part of their practical education in entrepreneurship and financial literacy.

The Student Company program, embedded within the elective curriculum of upper secondary education, nurtures young entrepreneurs by providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge. The festival highlighted the diverse business ideas and products developed by these students, with a focus on addressing market needs, including 40% in the Green Economy sector, 34% in IT & Innovation, and 26% in Web & App design. Notably, 74% of the leaders of these Student Companies are girls.

The festival culminated months of hard work within the "JAA Student Company" Program, which began with the introduction of the elective module in 52 schools, benefiting 2,132 students. Subsequently, 68 Student Companies were established, with 132 student leaders receiving training to lead these ventures.
