On April 26th, we successfully organized GEN-E ALBANIA - the Regional Entrepreneurship Festival in the city of Shkodra!
145 students, part of 29 Students’ Companies from 13 high schools in the cities of Tirana, Malësia e Madhe, Shkodra, Peshkopia, Shijak and Kukës, displayed their innovative products and services, inviting many "customers", citizens of the city of Shkodra to their stands.
The Students' Company is a module part of the elective curriculum of upper secondary education, which educates young people in the principles and skills of entrepreneurship and financial education, in practice.
Student Companies' business ideas and products address market needs and specifically:
• 40% Green economy
• 34% IT & Innovation
• 26% Web & App Design
The Regional Entrepreneurship Festival reflects the work of several months of the "JAA Student Company" Program, which this academic year started with the development of the elective module in 52 schools of higher secondary education for 2,132 students, followed with the establishment of 68 Student Companies and the training of 132 student leaders of these Companies.
