We are pleased to announce the successful completion of a series of dynamic training sessions held in March 2024, exclusively for students from the Construction VET School in Korça. These sessions, organized by Junior Achievement Albania (JAA) in collaboration with experts from Polis University, were conducted within the framework of the INNOVET project funded by GIZ. The aim was to equip students with essential business and marketing skills.
The first training session, on Product Development, took place on March 4, 2024 with the participation of 22 students from different profiles. This session introduced students to the fundamentals of product development, from ideation to market launch. Our experts guided students through each stage of the product lifecycle, ensuring they gained a comprehensive understanding of creating successful products.
Following this, on March 13, 2024, was the Student Training on Business Plan were 32 students dived in 6 groups worked under the guidance of Polis experts. This training focused on the core components of developing a robust business plan. Students learned how to conduct market analysis, plan finances, and set strategic goals, empowering them to draft viable business proposals.
On March 19, 2024, 21 students participated in the Student Training on Marketing and the Importance of Branding delivered by Polis and JAA experts. This session covered key marketing principles and the vital role of branding. Students explored how to create and maintain a strong brand identity, understood the impact of branding on consumer perception, and developed strategies to enhance brand loyalty.
The final training session, on March 29, 2024, was the Student Training on Marketing Sales & Customer Service. In this training, 28 students were introduced with the concept of marketing, sales, and customer service and how these integrate and interact with one another. Topics included effective sales techniques, customer relationship management, and delivering exceptional customer service to drive business success.
These training sessions were designed for students from the Construction VET School in Korça and were delivered by seasoned experts from JAA and Polis University. Each session was interactive, providing students with hands-on experience and practical knowledge that they can apply in real-world scenarios.
By the end of these sessions, students gained a well-rounded understanding of business development, marketing, and customer engagement as well as finalized the complete business plan for their companies. The knowledge gained not only enhanced their academic learning but also prepared them for successful careers in the construction and business sectors.
