At the end of the Debate Season, it is time for the Albanian Universities to meet in a showdown such as the National University Debate 2023 by Junior Achievement of Albania.
10 debate clubs representing public and private universities in Albania participated in the National University Debate organized by JAA.
The event, held on June 9-10, 2023, gathered young students for a confrontation of ideas and arguments. 485 students from 12 higher education institutions throughout Albania actively participated in the "Debate Clubs" set up within the "Debating Economics" program by JA Albania, during the academic year 2022-2023.
Throughout the year, students dedicated themselves to training and perfecting their skills, aiming to become good debaters. They explored the art of research, mastered the art of public speaking, and gained knowledge and skills that will undoubtedly accompany them throughout their lives. The teams faced off in intense debate sessions, igniting the atmosphere with their arguments.
The final round challenged the teams of the "Faculty of Foreign Languages" of the University of Tirana against "Luigj Gurakuqi" Shkodër. The title of the Winning Team of the National Debate 2023 was won by the "Luigj Gurakuqi" team. Junior Achievement of Albania will continue to accompany young people in their professional journeys.
