Junior Achievement of Albania is now part of an international consortium that supports the application of the EntreComp framework in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania and Montenegro, through teacher training, student competitions and programs intended for formal and informal VET. VETpreneur is funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ program — Capacity Building in the field of Vocational Education and Training.
VETpreneur offers a series of carefully designed capacity-building activities - including the mobility of teachers and students from Western Balkan partner countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro with EU counterpart countries. The project addresses common issues regional and also specific to each country, faced by young people and adults in the context of the VET sector, according to ETF evaluation reports (Torino process reports) from 2020 and 2021.
In doing so, the VETpreneur project includes the use of the EntreComp framework (entrepreneurship as a key competence) in formal and non-formal VET education and training in the Western Balkans. In formal VET education, it will be included through the company's program students and the development of innovative entrepreneurial labs based on identifying and solving problems and creating the right tools, also training of trainers (ToT). In non-formal education and training, it will be promoted in VET centers for adults, through networking events and the creation of the relevant accreditation framework.
