Finance Camps: Energy and new ideas from students in Fier and Lezhë

This year started with new energy and fantastic ideas from the students, part of the activities of Junior Achievement of Albania. In January, 83 students of 9-year-old schools in Fier and Lezhë participated in the Finance Camp of JAA.

Students divided into groups identified problems and challenges in the community where they live and proposed business ideas that provide solutions to some of the identified problems.

They presented their idea and business plan to the jury, focusing more on the financial aspect. Every challenge has its winners and such were 16 students in Fier and Lezha.

JAA's "Finance Camps" with students in grades 8-9 aim to deepen the knowledge and skills they receive in school about personal finance and entrepreneurship, to educate them how to earn money, save and invest, learn how to use credit and how to manage their personal finances.
