How can we better manage our budget? How can we turn a business idea into a success? These were some of the key questions faced by 129 students from Elbasan, Kukës, Berat, and Shkodër during the Finance Camps organized by Junior Achievement Albania in November and December 2024.
Over some intensive hours in each city, students from schools such as Mahir Domi, Kostandin Kristoforidhi, Dhaskal Todri, Arianiti, Vasil Kamami, and Luigj Gurakuqi (Elbasan); Havzi Nela (Kukës); Drita e Dijes, Babe Dude Karbunara, and Kristaq Capo (Berat); Peter Mahringer, Sherif Hoxha, and Oso Kuka (Shkodër) engaged in financial and entrepreneurial challenges. They worked in teams to propose creative solutions to issues within their communities.
These camps provided participants with hands-on experience in financial management, business planning, and strategic decision-making. Students not only tested their financial knowledge but also developed essential skills such as teamwork, critical thinking, and effective communication.
By tackling various challenges and receiving guidance from industry experts, young participants left the camps with a deeper understanding of finance and an entrepreneurial mindset that will support them in their future careers. Junior Achievement Albania continues to stand by Albanian youth, delivering innovative programs that help them prepare for the job market and the challenges of the future.
