BY LEAP: Concrete support for youth NGOs

Within the project "Linking regional education, skills and potentials with regional youth employment practices" - BY LEAP, funded by the Civil Society and Media Program - 2019 of the European Union, five civil society organizations were supported by JA of Albania during the period October 2021-February 2022 to develop their Strategic Plans. 25 members of these organizations were included in a cycle of training to increase their capacities to draft the Strategic Plan and Strategy for Fund Raising, and were trained mentored for the finalization of this strategic document. The organizations "MEKZH Center", "YIE Center", "National Club of Parents with CSA", "JUS Center" and "Destiny" Center have already drawn up their Strategic and Fundraising Plans for period 2022-2025 and will continue to implement these plans.

''Tuned in finance''quiz

BY LEAP project: Webinar for increasing the capacities of NGOs

Sunday, January 23 concluded the package of five (5) mentoring webinars for five (5) NGOs selected within the BY LEAP project. The main purpose of this webinar was to support and help NPOs (selected through an open call) in developing a strategic and fundraising plan, as the main pillars of the well-functioning and empowerment of an organization. During the last two webinars, NGOs had the opportunity to explore and increase their capacities in relation to topics such as organizational management, planning and evaluation, financial resources, public relations and cooperation network. Through these webinars, about 20 members from NGOs (project managers, executive directors, program coordinators and volunteers) not only had the opportunity to enrich their contribution within their organizations, but also to connect with each other and share stories and experiences inspiring.

Teacher trainings

During the months of November and December, 276 teachers participated in trainings organized by JA. The professional development of teachers is a priority for us, so we strongly support JA teachers through continuous training. We strive to equip teachers with the skills, knowledge and the right attitudes so that they can implement with students the practical and innovative learning methods they need to acquire entrepreneurial competence.
