Junior Achievement of Albania (JAA) has made significant progress in advancing AI education by providing specialized training for teachers under the Deep Tech Talent Initiative (DTTI). The initiative is designed to equip educators with the knowledge and skills to integrate AI into their classrooms, preparing students for success in the digital economy.
JAA organized one in-person training session for 13 teachers from vocational and secondary schools, covering key topics such as AI fundamentals, ethical considerations, and real-world applications in the Agri-Food sector. Teachers were introduced to the AI-ENTR4YOUTH platform, which serves as the foundation for developing AI-driven startup ideas. Additionally, these teachers participated in online mentoring sessions, receiving continuous support in implementing AI concepts into their lessons.
This training is a crucial part of the broader DTTI mission, ensuring that AI education becomes a core component of Albania’s vocational and secondary school system. Through continuous training and mentorship, JAA remains dedicated to fostering an AI-ready teaching community, inspiring and supporting students as they embark on their journey into deep tech and innovation.
