On October 24th, 2024, Junior Achievement Albania organized a Finance Camp in Puka, bringing together 35 students from two high schools: "Sabah Sinani" High School in Puka and Fushë Arrëz High School. The participants, from grades 10, 11, and 12, engaged in a dynamic challenge focused on creating an innovative business idea, combining creativity with financial skills.
Students worked intensively in teams, identifying significant community issues and proposing solutions based on sustainable business models. By the end of the camp, one team emerged as the winner, showcasing critical thinking, creativity, and strong presentation skills.
A standout element of this event was the support provided by Peace Corps volunteers, who contributed their expertise and energy to guide the students throughout the creative process.
We extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this activity, especially the continuous support of the participating schools and the dedicated volunteers. This successful camp reinforced the importance of financial literacy and entrepreneurship among young people, highlighting their potential to make a positive impact on the economic future of their communities.
